A Touch of Pin-Up, Snake Included

When a model wants something different
(such as working with a snake)
I say yes.

Think of all of the pictures possible!

The mind boggles yes?

But then you add in the driving force behind this shoot...

Kayla.

She wanted to shoot with a snake.
She found a snake she could use for the shoot.
Then she chose me to shoot what she wanted.

Thank you Kayla!

This young woman, the more I work with her the more I enjoy it.

When I work with her I get shots like...

And

Which I then will turn into

~

And

Kayla was incredibly brave,
because lets be honest here,
who wants a snake right here?

I'm not sure I could have done it,
in fact,
I'm fairly certain I would have freaked.

It's so much easier being on this side of the camera.

Bravo Kayla and thank you for such an incredible shoot!

I thought your inspired homage to America's Next Top Model went very well! You looked gorgeous and it really worked with your blonde hair.

You can find Kayla here on Facebook.

Thanks for stopping by my Visual Phantasy,

Torn between Nature and Portraits (HDR images)

HDR

Yes, it's something that is fairly new to me but it's something that I have grown to love over the last few months.

Learning,
that sense of discovery is priceless,
even if the process is imperfect.

I must say,
experimenting and learning about working in HDR is causing me to lean more towards returning to one of the things that pulled me towards photography.
Nature.

Not that I don't enjoy working with people,
because I certainly do,
but the wonder of the world around me is something I can never seem to let go of.

When I get the chance to blend it all together,
it makes me even happier.
(Model Cassandra Green in HDR)

So I am once more indecisive,
quelle surprise right?

Which direction do I go?

Do I have to chose?

Photography
Inspiration
Creativity

I will simply have to muddle through I suppose.

Decisions are never to be made lightly.
